About MASHSMD

MASHSMD was formed in 2015 as the result of the merger of the Virginia and Maryland chapters of healthcare PR, marketing, communications, and strategic planning professionals. Then, in 2016, we welcomed Pennsylvania to our Society. We are also proud to be an official independent chapter affiliate of the Society for Healthcare Strategy & Market Development (SHSMD), the national organization for those responsible for strategy development and implementation in healthcare organizations. We offer great benefits to our members including regional networking opportunities; timely, valuable educational programming; and a robust awards program to honor the great work done by our members.
