Our specialty is communications and design for healthcare. • We believe everyone builds the patient experience from the digital door, to the appointment, billing and beyond. • Too busy, we can extend your capacity bringing calm to the chaos
What we do.
We believe communication and design projects work best when they are based on a clear strategy that everyone agrees with. We can be sticklers about this.
Why? Because we don’t want to waste time or money. We want to diagnose first.
If you go to the doctor because you have a lump on your knee the doctor doesn’t pick up the scalpel and start cutting it out, right? They ask you a lot of questions, test your reflexes, take an x-ray and may send you to physical therapy. They are diagnosing, not jumping to a conclusion.
We do the same thing, we call it our treatment, our process.
In short, we make sure we’re focused on the right problem before we go about solving it.
Our business model
Strategic Health is unconventional, in a good way.
You won’t find a staff of full-time employees, rather you’ll find a team that has been handpicked for your specific project needs and goals. Some projects need a designer, art director and a writer, others demand a more robust team. And sometimes it takes a village — we’ll bring together production people, researchers, writers, designers, senior brand strategists and project managers. We believe you should only pay for what you need.
We’ve also mastered the art of coming together as a virtual team even though we have teams members living and working on both coasts!
We’ve worked together a number of times and are eager to get started. Just picture the dream team — that’s us!
We utilize a project management system (BaseCamp) to keep us connected. It’s cloud based so you can access your project from anywhere.
Founded in 2006, we are in our 13th year of business.
“Our strategic approach has been proven to relieve stress — in 100% of healthcare clients tested.”
We think you’ll find our strategic approach refreshing.

Stephanie and the team she brought were fantastic! They essentially functioned as an extension of our internal team, quickly grasping our objectives and proposing effective, attractive solutions. It was wonderful to work with someone who understands the health care system so well that we could focus on the goals of the project and execution and not have to spend time educating an outside consultant. Plus, not only is Stephanie smart, knowledgeable and creative, she is also fun and easy to work with, truly listening to understand our needs and then working within our budget to find an effective solution.
