I've had the good fortune to have worked with Rob from both the agency and provider/client perspectives, and have valued the comprehensive approach to evaluating, measuring and tracking brand equity through the BRANDengine lens. I worked with Strategic Communications to help position me as a thought leader in an evolving space. As a small company that was an early adopter in this space, I really needed to have somebody that could help me lay out the strategy and then execute it.
We started with strategic planning where we mapped out what it would take to be a thought leader, what image I would want to develop, what types of social media and kinds of publications to use. They led the strategic planning two different times. One was just with my company and one was with a group of advisors. Then they helped execute the strategic plan with all of the communications, marketing, and social media strategies that we set forth. That included writing and helping keep up with my social media.
When I give them something, they grasp it quickly and get the job done efficiently. I rarely have to make any kind of changes to anything they submit. Their broader knowledge about setting strategy and strategic plans is probably what I find most impressive about them. Also, their ability to not only think on a high level but get down into the weeds and get the job done with attention to detail.
Take advantage of the ability that they can bring to the table to foster the strategic planning piece. Then do your part by giving them a strong foundation of adequate information about the business and about the goals that you want to achieve. I'm confident you'll get the results you're looking for.

In the early days of digital marketing, I engaged them for our first distribution of a digital annual report. We were struggling with the various pieces involved and if it should be in-house. We ultimately went to True North who came up with some very creative ideas. Not only did we do an annual report, but we produced a whole digital marketing campaign to promote the report. The distribution out to our many stakeholders was not the report itself, but a clickable promotion for the report available for download. It was very unique at its time. The level of creativity and integrated marketing was really impressive and very important to us.

True North Custom managed some content marketing campaigns for peer-to-peer provider content, including a quarterly print and online newsletter, and a couple of annual reports.
